Big Tech experience

Avito

Engineering Manager · 2024–present

At Avito Real Estate, I led a cross-functional engineering team of up to 12 people. In nine months, we launched a unified transaction platform covering new-build purchases, mortgages, and secondary-market transactions. The launch involved 3 business units and 9 engineering teams.

In Trust & Safety, I lead a team of 10 engineers. In six months, the team launched a personal data and consent management platform serving 100+ services and more than 100 million users.

Yandex

Engineering Manager · 2022–2024

Started by leading a team of five working on Yandex’s internal regression-testing platform, used by around 2,000 remote testers across roughly half of Yandex products.

Later moved to managing two engineering teams through two team leads. I remained responsible for goals, people development, performance management, and coordination between the teams, while the leads owned execution and technical decisions.

Developed my successor from within the original team; he first took over that team and later succeeded me as group manager.
